Personal Cup Adapter is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 799.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not really impressed. Like the cups. I purchased mine at Costco, I'm always excited about Vitamix products. This one not so much. I think it takes to much work to use the attachment. Maybe if I could access it from the top/bottom. I was trying to make a smoothie and I had to keep hitting the bottom/top to get it to move. Yes, I did add liquids to it. Enough, maybe not. Anyways, I'll return it and hopefully the design will be updated the next time around. I do like the shorter and fatter containers that will fit under the counters. Mine is really tall. Maybe next time I'll purchase one of them. Anyways, we are all different with our needs and feedback. I still LOVE my VITAMIX.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really love these cups I was hesitant after reading the reviews, but I love this. The base has the holes for ventilation & then when washing, the soap goes through the holes. I haven't found it hard to clean as long as you clean it right away.. I haven't had any issue with getting the cups on correctly. The cups, I LOVE the cups! The edge that sits on your bottom lip is flat-ish, great mouth feel :) I made salad vinaigrette in this then kept it in the cup in the frig, it was perfect. I did follow recipes at first to get used to the order to add the ingredients & amount of liquid since is not as easy to add while blending, but once you get used to it works great.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ehhh So I bought this at Costco, I've been waiting for a personal size. I do have to turn it over occasionally to give it a quick shake. But that's not my biggest issue. The base it sits in is huge and clunky. The plastic piece has holes on the bottom so it's not to catch in case you messed up putting the cup on... trust me, it was a mess. It would be much better if it was a smaller adapter like they have with the blending bowls. Something simple that could screw on flip, blend, remove and put the lid on and go. I love the personal cups the adapter piece is just a terrible design. I really hope they are come out with a better one and are willing to swap them out later on!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Awful I make a lot of individual shakes and mousse. I have had my Vitamix for years and love it but when I make certain shakes, I lose a lot in the blade that I can't get to. When I saw this attachment at Costco I was so excited. I though I was going to have my Vitamix Potter and the convenience of a ninja. I am so disappointed. The adapter is so big and bulky. Trying to attach and remove the cup and such a pain. Then when I put my ingredients in the cup and attach it to the adapter, they all stick to the bottom of the cup which becomes the top when the cup is flipped over. Bottom line is that there is nothing convenient about this attachment. Total waste of money

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed We had been using our Vitamix professional for large smoothies and cooking. We had a ninja pro that we used with the personal cups for protein smoothies. I was so excited to purchase the vitamix personal cup adapter so I could get rid of our ninja. I have to say that I am legitimately disappointed. It is somewhat cumbersome to attach the cup to the adapter and even following the directions on what order to put our smoothie materials into the cup we still find that protein powder gets stuck to the sides/bottom of the cup. So stuck even running thru the dishwasher doesn’t get it clean. I love vitamix but disappointed in the price and quality of this cup.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY Under no circumstances should you buy this. I wouldn't even recommend you take it for free. This is the worst designed thing i have ever used. I bought this to replace my broken magic bullet after it broke. I used the magic bullet when i didnt want to dirty my large vitamix and make a single serving smoothie. This is terrible all around. If you decide you have to say add more liquid after blending there is a mess when you try and close it back up. It is terrible to clean, doesnt blend items well. its miserable to make sauces, because it cant blend things that are thick. i could go on for days about how worthless it is, just stay away from this.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some advantages...and disadvantages I like to use the cup adapter for my morning smoothie. I like it because instead of a glass and a blender jar to wash up I only have the blending cup to wash up (and a quick rinse to the adapter). I also like it because I feel there is less waste of the smoothie contents - since some of the smoothie sticks to the blender jar that part would before be lost...The disadvantage is that you need to be fairly accurate with the ingredients because you can not stick in a tamper to adjust or add to it without taking it all apart and also, if you fill it too much the contents seem to expand and then it leaks. Even with the small advantages I do use it every day and rarely have issues.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Useful product but with design flaws This product's blade turns turns counter-clockwise so if you are making a thick smoothie the blade is working to unscrew/loosen the cup from the base. The cup's threads should have been going the other way so the blade's turning secures the cup onto the adapter. That is why so many reviews criticize this product because it leaks. The solution to the present design is to secure the cup VERY firmly to the base. Also, the adapter has four slot holes in it for no useful purpose but they let any leakage run out on to the machine and counter. Why? When it doesn't leak it made the best single portion smoothie I have ever had.
